Soak the soap in water

1.1 First, put the 30 g soap flakes into each bowl.

1.2 Pour 20ml (4tsp) water into each bowl.

1.4 Cover the bowls with plastic wrap and leave them for more than 2 hours.

Carve simple ice cream cones out of soap.

2.1 First, roughly cut the soap, as shown.

2.2 Shape the soap into a cone with the carving knife. Cone base should be 3 cm (1-1/4") in diameter and should be 4 cm (1-3/4") in height.

2.3 Divide the edge of the cone base into 8 equal parts marking soap as shown.

2.4 Lightly cut 8 straight lines from the marks.

2.5 Draw 8 lines again, between previous lines.

(Optional) Carve ice cream cones with a scalloped pattern.

Add color to the soap

4.1 After two hours after step 1.4, stir the soap well until it becomes a smooth paste.

Make the scoop of ice cream

5.1 Scoop out the half of the soap paste and wrap it in plastic wrap.

6.1 Make an ice cream cat with the second half of soap paste, leaving a bit of soap paste to make cat paws.

Make ice cream scoops in a cup

7.1 Make scoops of soap ice cream. Repeat steps 5.3-5.7 for each scoop.

Make ice cream holder

8.1 Choose the cylindrical shaped objects for forming the holder (I have chosen nail polish bottle for this example).

8.2 Cut about 45 mm (18") aluminum wire, wrap it around the smaller bottle twice.

8.3 Bend the wire at a 90° angle.

8.4 Take it out of the bottle.
