Crawling Snake
1.1 Thinly cut off the top and bottom of your soap to remove the brand logo and create a flat surface. Cut out the snake template. Trace the crawling snake's shape onto the soap with a toothpick.
1.2 First, lightly cut along the outline, then cut out the snake's shape a bit bigger than the outline with a paring knife.
1.3 Flip over your soap. Trace the snake's shape onto the soap and lightly cut along the outline the same as step 1-2. Cut off the excess soap with a carving knife.
1.4 Round the edges of the front and back.
1.5 Shape the snake's body into a long thin shape.
1.6 Make the mouth pointed.
1.7 Draw outlines of the mouth and the eyes with a toothpick.
1.8 Cut out the mouth.
1.9 Draw a diamond grid (snake scales) on the top half of the snake's head and body with a point of the knife. Draw several lines on the belly.
1.10 Your crawling snake is carved out, see step 3.1 to paint it.
Coiled Snake
2.1 Trace the coiling snake's shape onto the soap and cut it out of the soap the same way as step 1.1 to 1.3.
2.2 Cut off the excess soap from the end of the snake's tale.
2.3 Round the edges of the snake.
2.4 Flip over your soap. Carve the tale and the neck.
2.5 Cut off the excess soap from the bottom of the tale. Then, round the edges of the snake.
2.6 Make the mouth pointed and shape the neck.
2.7 Draw outlines of the mouth and the eyes with a toothpick, and cut out the mouth.
2.8 Draw a diamond grid (snake scales) and several lines on the snake the same way as step 1.9.
2.9 Using a thin piece of soap, cut out a forked tongue.
2.10 Apply water to the end of the tongue, add it to the snake.
2.11 Your coiling snake is carved out, paint it as in step 3.1.
Paint the Snakes
3.1 Paint your snake with food coloring diluted with water. Let it dry.
3.2 Paint the eyes with nail polish and remove its excess with a point of the knife.
3.3 Done!
