Carve a unicorn body out of soap
1.1 Cut out the template.
1.2 Slice off the top and bottom of your soap to create smooth surfaces. Soap should have the thickness of 2-2.5 cm (1").
1.3 Pin the template to the soap.
1.4 Trace the template with a toothpick.
1.5 Cut off the corners of the soap with a paring knife. Leave one of cut off soap corners form making a unicorn horn.
1.6 Remove the soap around the unicorn shape as shown. Cut the soap little by little.
1.7 Holding your carving knife at a right angle, cut the unicorn shape.
1.8 Place the template on the soap and poke holes with a pin.
1.9 Connecting the holes, draw the shape with the toothpick.
1.10 Repeat steps 1.8-1.9 for opposite side.
1.11 Cut the unicorn forelock.
1.12 Remove the soap around the forelock.
1.13 Cut the unicorn neck deeply.
1.14 Remove the soap around the neck.
1.15 Cut the unicorn tail.
1.16 Remove the soap.
1.17 Repeat steps 1.11-1.16 for oppsite side.
1.18 Trim the edge of the body. Repeat this step on opposite side.
1.19 Trim the forelock.
1.20 Cut the soap piece on the head to create unicorn ears.
1.21 Smooth the soap between the ears.
1.22 Trim the mane diagonally.
1.23 Make three slits in the mane.
1.24 Trim the tail.
1.25 Make some curved cuts in the tail.
1.26 Make the cut in place for legs and remove soap around it.
1.27 Draw outline of the eyes.
1.28 Remove soap by outline to create eyes.
1.29 Make a unicorn horn out of the piece of soap. It should have length of 2.5 cm (1").
1.30 Draw a circle on the forelock.
1.31 Make a hole.
1.32 Attach the horn to the head. Adjust the horn when needed.
1.33 Carve 4 lines in the forelock.
1.34 Keep the soap scraps for future use.
(Optional) Apply colors to the unicorn.
2.1 Cut a sponge into wedges. Alternatively, you can use small paint brushes instead.
2.2 Apply water on the mane using a paint brush.
2.3 Apply eyeshadow with the make-up sponge or small brush. You can use any colors you like.
2.4 Apply water to the forelock.
2.5 Apply eyeshadow to the forelock.
2.6 Apply water to the tail.
2.7 Apply eyeshadow to the tail.
2.8 Wet the paint brush with water.
2.9 Apply eyeshadow to the eye with the wet brush.
2.10 Repeat previous step on opposite side. Done!
