Instructions
Make a center of the rose
1.1 Slice off the top of the soap.
1.2 Mark the center and draw the circle.
1.3 Cut and remove soap around the circle.
1.4 Round the circle edges.
1.5 Divide the circle into 5 sections.
1.6 Carve the first petal.
1.7 Carve the second petal.
1.8 Carve the third petal.
1.9 Carve the fourth petal.
1.10 Smooth an area for fifth petal.
1.11 Carve the fifth petal.
1.12 Round the center.
1.13 Carve the first petal of the second row.
1.14 Carve the second petal of the second row.
1.15 Carve the third petal of the second row.
1.16 Carve the fourth petal of the second row.
1.17 Carve the fifth petal of the second row.
1.18 Round the center.
1.19 Carve the first petal of the third row.
1.20 Carve the second petal of the third row.
1.21 Carve the third petal of the third row.
1.22 Carve the fourth petal of the third row.
1.23 Carve the fifth petal of the third row.
1.24 Round the center.
Carve petals surrounding the center
2.1 Flatten the surface around the flower.
2.2 Divide the circle into 5 sections.
2.3 Carve the trench.
2.4 Cut the petal shape and remove the soap around it.
2.5 Repeat two previous steps for the remaining four sections.
2.6 Flatten the surface around the flower again.
2.7 Carve a trench.
2.8 Cut the petal shape of second row and remove the soap around it.
2.9 Repeat two previous steps for the remaining four sections. Make additional trenches or flatten the surface around area for petal if needed.
Carve leaves and zigzag patterns
3.1 Smooth the soap.
3.2 Draw a leaf shape.
3.3 Cut the leaf shape and remove soap around it.
3.4 Carve a midrib.
3.5 Carve four V-shaped grooves, two for each leaf half.
3.6 Repeat steps 3.1-3.5 for remaining four leaves.
3.7 Smooth the blanks.
3.8 Draw straight line on both sides of the big rose.
3.9 Smooth the soap by the line.
3.10 Cut the zigzag pattern and remove soap around it.
3.11 Smooth the blank in front of the zigzag pattern.
3.12 Repeat two previous steps for another zigzag pattern.
3.13 Repeat steps 3.9-3.11 for opposite side of the big rose. Rose and laces relief is finished!
