  • Thin slice(s) of white bread
  • Melted butter
  • Sugar
  • Carving knife (or small kitchen knife)
  • Round cookie cutter 6.5 cm (2.5 in)

Instructions

1. First, cut out a circle from the bread slice using a cookie cutter.

2. Cut the rest of the bread slice into four triangle shapes.

3. Cut the circle bread slice into a pumpkin shape.
Note: you can choose any object you want, instead of the jack-o'-lantern.

4. Holding your knife straight up, cut a small triangle on the bread crust.
Then holding your knife flat, cut it out.

5. Repeat previous step to make another eye and the nose.

6. Holding your knife straight up, cut a shape of a pumpkin mouth on the bread crust.
Then, holding your knife flat, cut it out.

7. Heat up the slices of the bread and pieces of crust in a microwave for about 40 seconds at 500 watts.
Flip them over, and heat them up to dry them for about 20 seconds.

8. Dip the top of the bread into melted butter and then dip them into sugar.
Repeat it on each slice of the bread.

9. Dip the pumpkin shaped bread into melted butter and sugar as well.
Then place the pieces of crusts on the pumpkin shaped bread.

10. Toast them in a toaster for about 2 mins and 30 s.

11. They are ready when they are golden-brown.
