I used a butternut squash, but squashes and pumpkins can be hard to cut.
Carrots are recommended because it's easy to cut.
Of course, you can eat this vegetable chain! if you cook it.

Instructions
1. Cut the squash into a long rectangular shape, approximately 3.5 cm x 10 cm, 1.2 cm (1-1/2" x 4" x 1/2") in thickness. Tip: A squash is hard to cut, so heat it in the microwave for 30 to 50 seconds before carving.
2. Lightly cut some lines using a knife point. Tip: You can create as many lines as you like, but odd numbers are recommended.
3. Holding your knife upright, cut the squash and make angled cuts as shown in the picture.
4. Sticking the knife through the squash at a right angle, deeply cut along the lines so that you can do exactly the same for the other side.
5. Repeat the step 3 for the other side.
6. Cut off the end at an angle as shown in the picture, then do the same for the other end.
7. Flip over the squash and cut off the ends the same way as the previous step.
8. Cut a straight line in the middle of the longer side. Then repeat it for the other longer side.
9. Sticking your knife through the squash, cut the highlighed lines horizontally. Flip over the squash and do the same for the other side.
10. Slowly open the squash from the longer side to divide it into two parts.
11. Cut off the excess part of the both ends. Then, cut between the holes to separate it into rings.
12. Repeat the same process on the other piece of the squash.
13. Done!
