1. Cut off the top of the soap, bit by bit.
2. Draw a circle and divide it into 8 equal parts.
3. Draw 8 small circles in each part.
4. Holding the carving knife at a right angle, deeply cut the small circles.
5. Cut off the soap around the small circles.
6. Carve a row of 5 petals of the first layer.
7. Carve second row of 5 petals.
8. Repeat steps 6-7 for remaining 7 rose buds.
9. Trim the center of the soap.
10. Carve an outer petal.
11. Repeat previous step for remaining 8 outer petals.
12. Tilting the knife, cut off the soap by the 8 rose buds.
13. Deeply stick the knife to the soap, then slowly smooth the edge of the soap.
14. Cut out the chunk of the soap inside of the 8 roses.
15. Remove the chunk.
16. Put the center of the soap back for a moment and draw the butterfly shape.
17. Carve the wide V-shaped groove for the butterfly wings.
18. Cut the butterfly shape.
19. Remove the soap around the butterfly.
20. Smooth the sides of the center hole in the soap.
21. Put the center of the soap back.
22. Fill in the gaps with the soap scraps.
23. Scoop out the top of the soap with a spoon.
24. (Optional) Decorate the soap with beads and rhinestones.
