Carve angel wings
1.1 Cut out the templates.
1.2 Slowly cut the soap in half.
1.3 Thinly cut off the top of the soap.
1.4 Trace the shape of the wing onto the soap.
1.5 Cut the shape of the wing out of the soap.
1.6 Trim the edge of the wing.
1.7 Trace the highlighted feathers.
1.8 Cut and remove the soap around feathers.
1.9 Mark small dots on the soap.
1.10 Carve small feathers.
1.11 Mark two scalloped lines.
1.12 Carve aforementioned lines.
1.13 Remove soap under first row of small feathers.
1.14 Mark small six lines on the soap.
1.15 Carve six feathers.
1.16 Trace two feathers as shown.
1.17 Carve aforementioned feathers.
1.18 Divide the highlighted area into six equal parts.
1.19 Carve six feathers.
1.20 Smooth the soap for next feathers.
1.21 Mark a long feather.
1.22 Carve a long feather.
1.23 Mark three feathers.
1.24 Carve the three feathers.
1.25 Smooth the shown blank.
1.26 Mark four feathers.
1.27 Carve the four feathers.
1.28 Smooth the shown blank between two rows of feathers.
1.29 Trim the edge of the back side.
1.30 Mark the tips of the feathers.
1.31 Carve notches forming feather tips.
1.32 Cut six curved lines.
1.33 Cut feather pattern on highlighted feathers.
1.34 Repeat all previous steps for second angel wings. Soap angel wings are done!
Make a hanging pair of wings.
2.1 Bend a 2.5 cm (1") piece of aluminum wire.
2.2 Poke a hole on each wing for the piece of wire.
2.3 Apply glue to the wire and insert it into the hole on first wing.
2.4 Apply glue to wire again and connect both wings.
2.5 Cut a slit in each wing.
2.6 Tie the swing thread into a loop.
2.7 Attach the thread loop to the pair of wings.
2.8 Stick the thread to the soap with transparent tape.
2.9 The hanging pair of wings is done!
Make a hanging single wing.
3.1 Bend a 3 cm (1-1/4") piece of aluminum wire into a hook shape.
3.2 Apply glue to the hook and attach it to the wing.
3.3 Tie a bow.
Decorate with glitter
4.1 Apply some water to the wing.
4.2 Sprinkle the glitter over the wing.
4.3 Done!
