Carve the frog

1.1 Cut out the three frog templates

1.2 Thinly slice off the top of your soap to create surface with a carving knife. Then, trace the body and eyes of the frog onto the soap with a toothpick.

1.3 Holding your carving knife at a right angle to the soap, cut the soap a bit bigger than the body outline (along the blue line).

1.4 Cut off the soap around the cut.

1.5 Thin the soap until the height of the soap is about 1 cm (3/8").

1.6 Remove the soap around the body (along pink outline).

1.7 Trace front and hind legs

1.8 Holding your knife at a right angle to the soap, remove the soap around the body and legs.

1.9 Thinly slice off the bottom of the soap in order to level it.

1.10 Mark the middle of the legs and place the template on the bottom of the soap.

1.11 Trace the front and hind legs and the head onto the soap. Next, remove the excess soap.

(Optional) Paint pupils

2.1 Wet the paint brush with water and apply the black eyeshadow to the eyes.
